Rezydencja Apollo Karpacz ***
ul. Gimnazjalna 6
Rezydencja Apollo is housed in a meticulously restored building, the architecture of which dates back to the end of the 19th century. It combines style with a high living standard.
Apollo’s location is picture perfect – set amongst hundred-year-old spruce and larch trees, in calm and quiet surroundings, but just 10 minutes from the centre of Karpacz. In the close vicinity of our residence you will find tourist tracks leading to the most beautiful areas in the Karkonosze mountains. From here, tourists set off for the Sniezka, Samotni and Slonecznik peaks.
Hotel guests can make complimentary use of an enclosed car parking space and wireless internet access. “Apollo” has a cosy, stylish café which is decorated with artistic glass. The atmosphere of the café is enhanced by the innovative bar with an illuminated glass counter. The diffusion of light through the bar’s multi-coloured glass creates a unique ambiance. On the premises you will also find storage space for ski equipment and bicycles, a play-room for children, a swing and a sand-box.
One of our major drawcards is excellent home-style cuisine:
- we serve a buffet-style breakfast (with freshly-baked home-made cake daily)
- a three-course lunch/dinner can also be ordered
We happily cater for the culinary wishes of vegetarians.
We also have a large, varied menu for different kinds of banquets, parties, formal dinners and festivities. Apollo’s professional, friendly staff will ensure that your stay is memorable and that you will want to return!
Elegant, spacious rooms await our guests, each with private bathroom, safe, TV-SAT, most with balconies and beautiful views of the Sniezka peak or Lower Karpacz. We have 2-, 3- and 4-person rooms.
We also have 2- and 3- person rooms of a higher standard. These apartments have corner location, are of an interesting shape and more spacious than other rooms. Their windows face the Sniezka peak. 3-person apartments have two balconies – one with a view of the Sniezka peak, and one facing east with a view of Karpacz.
We have a very attractive, interestingly furnished 4-person studio (2 2) with a possible extension to 2 3. These are two attic rooms connected by a hallway, with a common bathroom. The windows have spectacular views of Sniezka and Kopa peaks. We also offer a 2 2 2 studio. In this case, each of the three rooms is fitted with its own bathroom. One has a large terrace with a view of the Sniezka peak, another has a balcony.
Convenient access to ski-lifts (700 m to the chairlift to the Kopa peak)
It would be our pleasure to organise:
- sleigh rides
- camp-fires with a pig, wild boar or sheep on a spit, in the forest adjacent to our hotel
- parties with live music, a DJ and Karaoke
- trips to Prague, Skalne Mesto, Dresden and other places
Near our hotel there is an ice-skating rink (in summer a Go-Kart track), a soccer field, handball field and basketball court. We also collaborate with a spa which offers massage, facials etc. We have recently created a play-room, swing and sand-box for our youngest guests.
There are many tourist tracks near Apollo, which lead tourists through the most beautiful areas in the Karkonosze region. At every time of year, the mountains surprise and delight wanderers with their beauty. The sound of rushing mountain streams, nature awakening in spring, the sun’s warm rays in summer, the rustle of dry, colourful leaves in autumn and the huge amounts of white fluff covering the entire surroundings in winter mean that the Karkonosze mountains are ever-changing and always attractive for tourists.
The Wang shrine, St Anne’s chapel, Samotnia, Strzecha Akademicka, nad Lomniczka mountain shelters, the Wild Waterfall, Pielgrzymy and Slonecznik are places which are definitely worth visiting. And of course, weather permitting, a trip to Karpacz is incomplete without an expedition to the Sniezka peak. There is the possibility of taking a chair-lift to the Kopa peak, from which Sniezka is just a 45 minute walk away.
In Karpacz itself, we recommend visiting the Museum of Sport and Tourism, the Museum of Toys and Dolls, and the Church of the Most Holy Virgin Mary. A thrill-seeker can also visit Western City, located near Karpacz, where it is possible to go horse-riding, witness a bank robbery, visit a saloon and participate in many other attractions.
It is also worth seeing:
- Sztolnie Kowary – an underground tourist track
- The Park of Miniature Historic Sites of Lower Silesia
- The "Gerhart Hauptman House" museum in Jagniatkow
- The Chojnik castle built in the 13th century during the reign of Bolek II
- The Cisterian Monestary with the Piast mausoleum in Krzeszow
- The Churches of Peace in Jaworza and Swidnica
- The palace in Ksiaz
Lower Silesia also offers many other interesting historic sites. It is our pleasure to offer our guests advice and assistance in organising day-trips and sightseeing.
