Dworek Skorzewski in Poznan is a charming place, combiningthe wealth of Polish tradition and famous Old Polish hospitality with European standards. Excellent cuisine, unique entertainment and unusual rest are only some of the advantages of that place. What is very important, the hosts secure safety for all guests: the whole area is enclosed and monitored.

The manor-house is characterized by its interesting architecture with spacious buildings, which allows to lodge over 40 people in 22 period rooms. No matter whether it is after a whole day of negotiations or after a whole night of exciting amusement, one can always have a good rest in an oaken, manually curved bed. All standard facilities such as cable television, telephone or air-conditioning remain almost unnoticed in comparison with the qualties of the guest rooms full of poetic atmosphere. Those rooms, however, will not let exhausted person to all asleep immediaytely. The antique furniture, fascinating hunting trophies, brass lamps, unique decorative cloths and ornaments move to the world like from Chelmonski or other Polish realists paintings; reproductions of those drawings decorate walls of the manor-house.

After such a splendid "feast for soul" it is time for a lavish Polish meal and exciting entertainment. In The Inn there is enough space for 120 men. Two rooms, for 40 and 80 people respectively, still lead guests into the picturesque world from the end of the XIXth century by plenty of hand-made folk art objects, household tools and those used while soil cultivation. Yet, it is time for a common feast. A tempting scent of a roast pork, an aroma of all sorts of sausages, recently smoked fish or bread baked according to old recipes, all that the appetite for the feast.
All dishes, as well as fresh-baked bread and fresh-made cakes are a living picture of the Old Polish cuisine; they are prepared by coutry-housewives only from fresh and healthy ingredients. Additionally, lively accompaniment of a folk band encourages to enjoy the party; old songs - with help of a song-book for the uninitiated. Those dances and feast will not be interrupted even by the weather, because The Inn is accomplished solidly in Old Polish style and a barbecue place is under a roof.
In a breathing-space one can get to know the old housekeeping and agrcultural equipment; there is quite a large collection of those in the Skansen museum. It is also possible to prepare sausages and butter with one's own hands. If someone from the company fancies privacy and quiet, it is enough to get back to the manorial walls again, pass by an ornamented door, two hundred years old antique stove and a wine-cellar will be a shelter.In its poetic atmosphere, in warm light of flames and an aroma of wood burning at a fire-place one may taste all kind of wines. If an untiring guest, however, misses further emotions, he or she can go for a chaise or a sledge ride.
After that exciting excursion one may appease hunger eating pork and rest by the fire. Pork is prepared according to old tradition - its meat is manually rotated on alder wood for 12 hours on a small fire. Then, after that long time of entertainments and common feast one can choose calmer, however active, way of resting. Swimming is one of the possibilities; guests are welcome to use indoor swimming-pool located outside the manor-house. Proximity of a golf course and tennis-courts gives the opportunity to talk part in modern sport entertainments. Whereas the riding centre situated nearby comines Old Polish fondness for horse riding with lasting untill today passion for spending time in such an active way. Communing with nature, however, is the most enjoyable form of rest. One may sit down in the open air, surrounded by plants and trees, listening to the charming singing of birds. Still, during warmer periods of a year, that singing sometimes will keep one awake at dawn...
